                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 223 AND
                   229 DELWANNA TERRACE, BEING ON THE NORTHEAST
                   LINE OF DELWANNA TERRACE AT PINEVILLE ROAD,
                   FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO RT-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   TOWNHOUSE ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 223 and 229 Delwanna
                Terrace, being on the northeast line of Delwanna
                Terrace at Pineville Road.  Lots 2 and 3, Signal
                Mountain View Point Subdivision, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 55, page 243, ROHC; being
                part of the property described in deed book 4259,
                page 608, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 126G-C-12 (part).
               
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to RT-1 Residential Townhouse Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
